    Apple Reveals Finalists for ‘App Store Awards 2023’, Highlights Apps Chosen by Company’s Editorial Team

    San Francisco, November 15: Apple has revealed the finalists for the App Store Awards 2023, highlighting standout apps chosen by the company’s editorial team. The tech giant picked nearly 40 apps and games to showcase across 10 different categories — for their excellence, inventiveness, and technical achievement in apps and games.

    App Store Award winners will be selected from this year’s outstanding group of finalists and will be announced in the coming weeks. “These finalists are all incredibly talented and have put enormous effort into creating these great apps and games.     Finalists in the iPhone App of the Year category include AllTrails, Duolingo, and Flighty, which helped users discover more ways to explore and learn new skills. Finalists in the iPhone Game of the Year category include Afterplace, Honkai: Star Rail, and Vampire Survivors, which invited players to new adventures with lush graphics on the iPhone. Moreover, the tech giant selected Concepts, DaVinci Resolve, and Pret-a-Makeup as finalists in the iPad App of the Year category, which helped users tap into their creativity through multiple mediums. Eggy Party, Lost in Play, and Pocket City 2 were selected as finalists in the iPad Game of the Year category.

    Mac App of the Year finalists include Linearity Curve, Photomator, and Portal, which inspired focus and creativity for users. ELEX II, Lies of P, and Return to Monkey Island were selected as finalists in the Mac Game of the Year category.     Finalists in the Apple TV App of the Year category include Bugsnax, FitOn, and MUBI, which brought stunning experiences to the biggest screen in the home.     According to Athos Salomé, there are five teams that are bound to outperform among the 32 who are currently playing at FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.     FIFA World Cup 2022 Winner Prediction

    While Athos did delve into the predictions and hints made in the popular English TV Series The Simpsons, he said that his predictions actually differ from that of the show. The Simpsons have been known to have old episodes that capture current affairs to an eerily similar level. From the presidency of The Simpsons to various other important events, The Simpsons has rightly depicted the future far too many times. And according to a 2011 episode of the show, Brazil wins the FIFA 2022 World Cup. However, Athos said that his top two for the finals do not include Brazil. According to the Living Nostradamus, the FIFA World Cup finals this year will be between Argentina and France.

    FIFA 2022 marks the first year that this crucial football world cup has been played in an Arab or Middle-eastern country. The games were kickstarted in Qatar on November 20 and will go on till December 18, the day of the final match. Played across various places in Qatar, FIFA 2022 is the first to be played in the winter, instead of the usual FIFA Schedule of May, June, and July.

    Miss Penal System Contest 2021: Russia Organizes Beauty Pageant For Female Prison Wardens; Unveils Pictures of 12 Finalists

    Russia’s Federal Penitentiary Service has organised ‘Miss Penal System Contest 2021’ for beautiful female prison wardens. They have also released the list of the final candidates for its annual Miss Penal System contest. Out of several contestants, 12 of the country’s beautiful prison guards are currently competing against each other as the voting is underway. Out of the 12 gorgeous Russian prison guards, one will bag the crown. According to the Russia Today report, around 100 contestants participated in the local competition and out of which only 12 have been selected for the final round.

    They will receive votes from June 7 to June 11, 2021. After counting the votes, the name of the winner will be announced.  The final event will take place in Moscow on June 11, 2021. The beautiful female contestants come from all over the country, including Sakhalin in the Far East and Murmansk in the far north. However, the Russian Federal Penitentiary Service is not the first government agency to organize a beauty pageant to promote its work. In 2019, when the National Guard held the ‘Beauty of Rosgvardia’ pageant, police officer Anna Khramtsova won the competition.

    However, Khramtsova enjoyed her victory for few days and later she was fired after she posted a video on Instagram from inside a Rosgvardia facility. According to the authorities, she was fired for breaching security.“The competition I won only aggravated everything, and now there is a prejudiced attitude towards me,” Khramtsova said.

    This is not the first time the Federal Penitentiary Service has stunned everyone with the beauty pageant. Last month, a prison in Russia’s Novosibirsk city had revealed that they had installed British-style red phone boxes to decorate the room of the inmates so that they can make a call to the outside world.
