    Delhi, October 8: A North Carolina father man died just after his daughter’s ninth birthday party, when his GPS guided him to a bridge that was washed away in 2013. The man had two children.

    The man’s mother-in-law Linda McPhoee Koeing shared on Facebook on 3 October that Phil Paxson was heading home after his daughter’s celebration in Hickory, North Carolina, on a “dark and rainy night” on September 30 when the unfortunate incident happened, reported Daily Mail.

    His wife, Alicia Paxson, recalled in an FB message of her own that the two drove in separate cars to the event. She wrote that when it was time to go, the couple packed up all the decorations after which the man packed up the van and loaded the girls into the van.     Phil was following his GPS which led him down a concrete road to a bridge that dropped off into a river,’ his mother-in-law Koenig continued on Facebook.     The bridge also didn’t have any “barriers or warning signs for commuters resulting in the unfortunate incident.

    Koeing concluded that Phil will be greatly missed by his family and friends. It was a totally preventable accident and they are grieving his death.

    The North Carolina State Highway Patrol team arrived at the scene on October 1 when they discovered Phil’s 2020 Jeep Gladiator overturned and submerged in water. They recovered his body shortly after.

    N.C. State Highway Patrol in their defence claimed that there once used to be barriers to prevent drivers from danger but they have been moved since. They also said that the bridge was not controlled by local or state officials.

    The son posted that his father had moved out and was living with his co-worker when he suddenly died of a heart attack while having sex.     The man added that his Dad’s family and the colleague are furious at the vengeful carving, he believes it accurately describes the character of his father.

    While the son believed the gravestone was disrespectful and possibly hurtful to those who loved the adulterer, many were in support and praised the carving. The man’s post was upvoted over 36,000 times and most people came out in Mother-Son duo’s defence.

John Chapple, the 79-year-old official Palace beekeeper on Friday performed a rather sad, traditional task. He informed tens of thousands of bees about the death of Queen Elizabeth II. As reported by the Daily Mail, Chapple travelled to Buckingham Palace and Clarence House to perform his duty. He spoke in hushed tones, the report added.

    While breaking the news to the bees, Chapple placed black ribbons around the hives, and then told the bees inside the bee yard about the news.     “The person who has died is the master or mistress of the hives, someone important in the family who dies and you don’t get any more important than the Queen, do you?” Chapple was quoted as saying.     Chapple, who has held his position for 15 years, cares for over a million Royal bees.     “In Clarence House, there are two hives, and in Buckingham Palace, there are five. At this time of the year, each hive contains 20,000 bees, maybe a bit more, but I’m not very good at counting them. It’s over a million in the summer” Chapple informed.
