    Michigan, April 23: Panic erupted in a school in Michigan, US, after a kindergartner brought a tequila-infused beverage inside Grand River Academy school and shared it with classmates during snack break. The incident took place on April 14 when a kid sneaked the drink in a school bag and shared it with others telling them that it was juice.

    The child reportedly brought a small plastic bottle of Jose Cuervo mix that had more than 10% alcohol in it, reported a local media outfit.     The school further issued a statement saying, “student privacy laws prevent them from sharing specific details.     San Francisco, April 1: Popular social audio platform Clubhouse has announced that it will now let users limit who can see their full profiles due to increased security threats related to Russia’s ongoing invasion of Ukraine.

    The company said it is launching a protected profile setting to make it so that your full profile is only available to people who you approve as followers. “Your name, username, bio, and any linked social handles will be available and you can update them as you see fit. You can also still block users,” the company said in a blogpost.

    It also makes you less visible on Clubhouse in general.   • Windows 11 Update Brings New Desktop Watermark for Unsupported Hardware: Report

    San Francisco: Tech giant Microsoft is pushing ahead with plans to warn Windows 11 users that have installed the operating system on unsupported hardware. In a new update to Windows 11, a watermark has appeared on the desktop wallpaper for unsupported systems, alongside a similar warning in the landing page of the settings app, reports The Verge. Microsoft Reportedly Starts Testing Tabs in File Explorer on Windows 11.

    The tech giant had been testing these changes last month, but they are now rolling out to Release Preview just ahead of a full release to all Windows 11 users in the coming days.

    While Microsoft does not mention the addition of a watermark in its “improvements” list for this update, testers have noticed it’s included.

    If Windows 11 is running on unsupported hardware, a new desktop watermark will state “System requirements not met. Go to settings to learn more”.

    It is similar, but far less prominent, to the semi-transparent watermark that appears in Windows if users have not activated the OS. It is been possible to bypass Microsoft’s minimum hardware requirements for Windows 11 and install the operating system freely, the report said.

    The controversial hardware requirements mean Windows 11 only officially supports Intel 8th Gen Coffee Lake or Zen+ and Zen 2 CPUs and up, leaving millions of PCs behind. Anyone that has used the workaround will now start to see this warning in Windows 11, as per the report.

    San Francisco: Meta-owned photo-sharing platform Instagram is introducing automatic captions to videos in the feed. They will be enabled by default for creators, too.     Producers won’t have to manually add captions themselves. However, Instagram also noted that this should help people who simply prefer to watch videos with the sound off. Users won’t have to toggle the volume just to understand what someone is saying, the report said.

    Recently, Instagram said that it will no longer be supporting standalone app for IGTV, instead, it will focus on having all videos on the main Instagram app. Instagram also said that it is exploring more ways for creators to earn by creating reels that entertain the community. In addition to bonuses, later this year, it will begin testing a new ad experience on Instagram, which will allow creators to earn revenue from ads displayed on their reels.

    New Delhi: Sony has released a new beta update for the Playstation 5, which introduces new features such as improved settings menu UI along with a new voice assistant. Similarly, in closed parties, only selected players with an invite can join.     San Francisco: Video-streaming platform YouTube’s dislike count has reportedly returned through a new open-source extension called “Return YouTube Dislike”.     The extension has picked up thousands of positive reviews from users since its release, the report said.
