    Mumbai, November 10: Humane, founded by ex-Apple executives, announced a new high-tech AI projector called “Ai Pin” that can be worn on clothing. The Ai Pin projector from Humane is said to replace your smartphone as it has no screen but runs on voice commands and hand motions. The new device from Humane will run on US-based T-Mobile network and will cost $699 (approximately Rs 58,213).

    According to reports, first the wearable device was unveiled during TED Talk in May. After six months, the company officially announced its wearable AI projector and named it “AI Pin”. So far, the device but it sounds more like a smartphone without having a screen.     Ai Pin by Humane has a green laser projector that projects the holographic information on your hand. It can recognize the objects before you place them with the help of its camera. It is a very small square device that can be fitted on the palm of your hand. Human AI Pin, according to the reports, will have access to the Microsoft and OpenAI using the T-Mobile Network. The device does not listen or record voice commands like “Google’s Virtual Assistant” or “Apple’s Siri”, instead the users have to manually trigger it.

    According to the reports, the device can display texts, monochromatic images, on user’s hand. AI Pin will be available in the United States from November 16, confirmed by the official website. Human Ai Pin works with voice and hand motions. The reports say that the device will only work if the user interacts with it.     The pilot programme allows users to subscribe and make purchases using the payment option of their choice, Spotify said in a blog post.     All the Android users will soon have the choice, how they want to pay for their Spotify subscription in the best suitable way. “In the coming weeks, we’ll expand our test to even more markets,” Spotify said.

    Mumbai: Homegrown micro-blogging platform Koo on Wednesday said it has raised $30 million in Series B funding, led by Tiger Global. Koo has garnered nearly 60 lakh downloads in just a year of operations. Koo’s existing investors Accel Partners, Kalaari Capital, Blume Ventures and Dream Incubator also participating in the round. Koo App Aims to Garner 10 Crore Users by End of 2021 With ‘Micro-Blog of India’ Tag.

    “We have aggressive plans to grow into one of the world’s largest social media platforms in the next few years. Every Indian is cheering for us to get there soon. Tiger Global is the right partner to have on board to realise this dream,” said Aprameya Radhakrishna, Co-Founder and CEO of Koo.

    IIFL and Mirae Assets are other new investors who have come on board the cap table with this round, the company informed. Koo last week said it has met the compliance requirements of the new IT (Intermediary Guidelines) Rules 2021 ahead of its May 25 deadline set by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY).

    Koo said earlier this month announced to launch a unique feature that will help users speak and type messages without using the keyboard in regional languages, apart from English. Called ‘Talk to Type,’ the feature will help Koo users speak out their thoughts and the words will show up on the screen at the click of a button. Founded last year, the vernacular micro-blogging platform Koo crossed 60 lakh users within no time and aims to garner 10 crore users by the end of this year.
