According to HDFC Securities, on March 9, gold in the national capital received a marginal difference in global precious metal prices from metal 35 to ₹ 43,996 per 10 grams.
The precious metal had closed at Rs 43,961 per 10 grams in the previous trade.
Silver also jumped from ₹ 553 to ₹ 65,621 per kg to ₹ 65,068 per kg in previous trade.
In the international market, gold was up at $ 1,696 an ounce and silver was flat at $ 25.50 an ounce.
According to HDFC Securities, senior analyst, “gold prices are firms supported by a weak dollar.” [Commodities], Tapan Patel.
