Samsung’s most affordable M-series smartphone gets a price hike in India – morningtidings

Less than a week after increasing the prices of three of its smartphones, Samsung has now increased the price of another handset — Galaxy M02 — in the country.
The Galaxy M02 is one of the most affordable handsets from the brand and was launched in February earlier this year in two storage models.

Post the price hike, the base variant of the Galaxy M02 that offers 2GB RAM and 32GB internal storage will cost Rs 7,999. The second storage variant offering 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage will now be selling at Rs 8,499. Both variants of the Galaxy M02 are up for grabs at the new prices on Samsung’s official website, Amazon as well via offline channels.

Running on Android 10 with One UI on top out of the box, the Samsung Galaxy M02 smartphone offers a display of 6.5-inch HD+ screen with a water drop notch.
The Samsung Galaxy M02 smartphone comes powered by quad-core MediaTek MT6739 processor, the device offers up to 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. For those who want more, they can install a microSD card of up to 1TB.
For imaging duties, the Samsung Galaxy M02 has a dual-camera setup on the back. The primary camera is a 13MP sensor and the secondary sensor is a 2MP sensor. On the front, users get a 5MP sensor.
Backed by a 5000mAh battery, the Samsung Galaxy M02 comes with 10W charging support.
