Samsung India took to Twitter to tease the launch of Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 smartphones. The company teased the launch during a conversation with Alia Bhatt. In a reply to the actor’s tweet, Samsung India tweeted, “We welcome you to #TeamGalaxy. A special delivery coming your way on 20th August. Unfold and pick your Foldable!”
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 specifications
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 features a 6.2-inch HD+ Dynamic AMOLED cover display with 120Hz refresh rate. When you unfold the device, you will get a 7.6-inch QXGA+ Dynamic AMOLED main display with 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone is protected with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass Victus and IPX8 rating which makes it water-resistant.
The device offers a total of five cameras– three at the back, one underneath the main display and one on the cover display. The triple rear camera module includes a 12MP ultrawide sensor with F2.2 aperture, 12MP dual pixel autofocus primary sensor with F1.8 aperture, OIS and another 12MP telephoto sensor with F2.4 aperture and OIS. When you fold the device, you will get a selfie camera on the cover display with a 10MP sensor and F2.2 aperture.
The phone is powered by a 5nm 64-bit octa-core chipset along with 12GB of RAM and internal storage options of 128GB or 256GB. It runs Android 11 operating system and is powered by a 4400mAh battery.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 is powered by a 5nm 64-bit octa-core chipset coupled with 8GB of RAM. The smartphone comes in two storage variants — 128GB and 256GB.
The foldable smartphone comes with a 1.9-inch Super AMOLED display. It unfolds to showcase a 6.7-inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED main display with 120Hz refresh rate.
As for the camera, there’s a dual-camera setup with 12MP wide, F1.8 aperture, OIS and autofocus along with a 12MP ultrawide sensor with F2.2 aperture. Inside, the main display has a 10MP selfie camera with F2.4 aperture.
The smartphone runs Android 11 and is backed by a 3300mAh battery.
