Samsung rolls out Android 11 update for two-year-old Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019) - Times of India

NEW DELHI:Consumer electronics giant Samsung takes Android updates quite seriously. The company makes sure to roll out timely software updates for its devices. Recently, the company rolled out Android 11 update for its mid-range smartphones and now it is updating its two-year-old Android tablet.
Samsung has started rolling out Android 11 update for its Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019) tablet which the company launched in 2019. The Android tablet came with Android 9.0 Pie operating system out of the box. Last year, the Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019) received the Android 10 update.
The update comes with firmware version T515XXU8CUF2 and it also brings the new One UI to the tablet. It is an OTA update, but you can also manually check for it by going to the Settings> Software updates.
With the Android 11 update, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019) users will be able to experience features like chat bubbles, easier access to smart home controls, the ability to remove GPS location data from images, improved stock apps, more lock screen options, improved Samsung Internet and Samsung Keyboard and others.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019) features a 10.1-inch full HD display with 1920×1200 pixel resolution. Running Android 9.0 Pie operating system, the device is powered by the company’s own Exynos 7904 processor. The tablet offers 3GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 400GB by adding a microSD card.
The device sports an 8MP primary camera and a 5MP secondary shooter for selfies. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019) packs a 6150mAh battery and offers WiFi, Bluetooth and USB Type C as connectivity options.
