At its Galaxy Unpacked Event 2021, Samsung launched Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 4 Classic. The two smartwatches are the first smartwatches to feature the new Wear OS-based One UI Watch, that Samsung has co-developed with Google.
Both the Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 4 Classic come powered by 1.18GHz Exynos W920 dual-core processor. The two smartwatches have Samsung BioActive Sensor on board. This sensor includes three functionalities — Optical Heart Rate, Electrical Heart and Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis — to allow users to monitor their blood pressure, detect an AFib irregular heartbeat and measure their blood oxygen level.
The Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 4 Classic come with Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity and are compatible with Android 6.0 or higher and with more than 1.5GB of RAM.
While these are the common specs, the Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 4 Classic differ on some parameters too. In terms of difference, there are vary in colour options, casing options and display size options.
The Galaxy Watch 4 comes in 44mm and 40mm case options in Aluminum finish, the Galaxy Watch 4 Classic comes in 46mm and 42mm option and in Stainless steel finish.
