There have been reports about South Korean tech giant Samsung gearing up to launch the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE for a while now.
Now, the handset has allegedly been spotted on the TENAA certification website with model number SM-G9900 revealing some of its key specifications.
According to a report by MyFixGuide, the Galaxy S21 FE sports a 6.4-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The TENAA listing also suggests that the device will house a 4370mAh battery.
Parallely, FCC website has been spotted with a model number SM-G990U and Geekbench with SM-G990B model number — both of which are said to be different variants of Samsung Galaxy S21 FE that could be launched depending on the region.
Samsung Galaxy S21 FE rumoured specifications
Earlier this month, a report by Android Headlines had shared an alleged official poster of Samsung Galaxy S21 FE revealing four colour options — Gray, Light Green, Light Violet and White — in which it is expected to be available.
Design wise, the Galaxy S21 is expected to come with a vertically aligned triple lens camera system at the back. The LED flash light is placed outside the module.
The handset is said to be backed by a 4500mAh battery and measure 155.7×74.5×7.9mm.
Samsung Galaxy S21 FE expected launch date
As per a report by Korea’s Maeil Business, Samsung is reconsidering the release plans of the smartphone. Earlier, it was planning to launch the handset in August 2021. Now, the launch is expected to be pushed to the fourth quarter of this year. It is also expected that Samsung may limit the launch of the Galaxy S21 FE model to a few markets such as the US and Europe initially.
