Samsung, the South Korean smartphone maker officially launched its Galaxy F22 smartphone in the Indian market. The company has been teasing the handset on its official Twitter account and YouTube channel. The device will be made available for sale in the country on July 13, 2021 via Flipkart and Samsung India website. As an introductory offer, the company will be providing a Rs 1,000 discount on prepaid transactions on Flipkart. Other offers include 5 percent unlimited cashback on Flipkart Axis Bank credit card, up to Rs 11,900 off via exchange deals and more.

The smartphone features a 6.4-inch sAMOLED Infinity-U display with a refresh rate of 90Hz and a resolution of 1600×720 pixels. The handset comes powered by a MediaTek Helio G80 SoC coupled with up to 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage.

For optics, it gets a quad rear camera module comprising a 48MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2MP macro shooter and a 2MP depth sensor. At the front, there is a 13MP selfie snapper for selfies and video calls. The device comes packed with a 6,000mAh battery with 25W fast charging support. Connectivity options include Bluetooth 5, 4G LTE, NFC and more. The phone also gets a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and face unlock feature.
