Various leaks and rumours suggest that Samsung will host the Galaxy Unpacked event on August 11, but nothing is confirmed yet. Now, the Russian sub-site of the company accidentally confirmed the date of the upcoming launch event.

The Russian website posted a banner revealing the time and date of the next Galaxy Unpacked event. The post reads, “The future will unfold in a new way. Very soon” and pins the time at August 11, 17:00 Moscow time (7.30pm IST). However, the company quickly removed the post.
According to the screen grab captured tipster Evan Blass, the teaser consists of abstract looking shapes which represent the Galaxy Fold 3 and the Galaxy Flip 3.
Samsung Galaxy Fold 3 expected specifications
Samsung Galaxy Fold 3 is said to be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor paired with 12GB of RAM. The high-end smartphone is expected to run Android 11 operating system topped with the company’s own layer of One UI. The foldable smartphone is said to come with S-Pen and 5G support. It is also said that the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 will come with an NFC chip.
The yet-to-launch foldable smartphone is expected to be backed by a 4275mAh battery and support 25W fast charging. The smartphone is also said to feature two Super AMOLED displays which will include 6.23-inch cover display and 7.55-inch internal display.
Samsung Galaxy Flip 3 expected specifications
On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy Flip 3 is said to offer various improvements over its predecessor. The foldable smartphone is expected to come with a 1.9-inch Super AMOLED cover display and a 6.7-inch foldable display. The foldable display is said to offer 120Hz refresh rate.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 is also expected to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor and support 5G connectivity. The smartphone is said to sport dual rear camera and a 10MP selfie shooter. The smartphone is said to run Android 11 operating system topped with the company’s own layer of One UI.
