Sachin Tendulkar and Yuvraj Singh showed old batting against the South African giants in a Road Safety World Series match in Raipur on Saturday. Tendulkar captained the India giants to score 60 runs off just 37 balls, while Yuvraj hit four consecutive sixes in one over in a 21-overs half-century innings. Tendulkar and Yuvraj’s batting masterclass at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium helped India’s veterans register a comfortable win.

Here’s a glimpse of Tendulkar and Yuvraj’s innings:

The India Legends captain was timing the ball to perfection as he hit back-to-back boundaries from Makhaya Ntini, including a back foot punch and a trademark Tendulkar straight drive.

In the 18th over, Yuvraj teased Gander de Bruyn as the left-handed batsman hit him for four maximums.

Yuvraj went beyond the score of 50 in the last two overs, taking his team’s total score to 200.

India Legends scored 204 for three wickets in their allotted 20 overs.

In response, Andrew Putick and Morne Van Wyk shared an 87-run partnership for the opening wicket, but South Africa faltered as Joseph broke the partnership.

Yusuf took the South African giants for 56 runs with a target of 205 runs with three wickets.
