RedmiBook: RedmiBook will launch in India on August 3, company announces – morningtidings

Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi is set to launch its first laptop in India. As announced by the company via Twitter, the Redmi laptop will be unveiled in the country on August 3. The device will be called RedmiBook.
“So, folks in the laptop team have been up to some shenanigans..They have been working on a top-secret project and a couple of scenes have leaked!..We think you’ll love to see what these guys have been up to,” wrote the company in the tweet.
It also shared an image in the tweet that reveals the launch date of RedmiBook. It also gives a glimpse of the upcoming laptop. One can see noticeable bezels on both the sides of the screen. The top and bottom chin of the laptop have even thicker bezels. Redmi branding can be seen done on the chin.

Xiaomi has created a microsite of the upcoming device. “Graduating school, celebrating a promotion? Starting a business or feeding a creative passion? No matter what the dream, you must strive..RedmiBook is here, to Super Start Life,” says the page. It does not reveal any spec or feature of the upcoming laptop.
Recently, the company launched the Redmi Note 10T 5G phone in India. The smartphone is a budget category phone that comes with a starting price of Rs 13,999. It is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset and has an adaptive refresh rate of 90Hz. The handset 5G boasts of a 48MP primary camera at the back. It is paired with a 2MP macro camera and 2MP depth sensor. At the front, the phone has an 8MP camera for selfies.
