Realme, the Chinese phone maker, is all set to launch the 9 Pro Series in India on February 16, 2022. The company teased the upcoming series on its Twitter account, revealing its launch date. The launch event will commence at 1:30 pm and will be streamed live via Realme India’s official YouTube channel. Realme 9 Pro Series will comprise Realme 9 Pro and Realme 9 Pro+ models. The Realme 9 Pro Series will get a flagship camera with a 50MP lens and a Sony IMX766 sensor.

Realme 9 Pro+ will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 920 5G SoC that powers the Vivo V23 and Xiaomi 11i Hypercharge smartphones. A couple of weeks ago, Realme CEO Madhav Sheth had confirmed that the Pro+ variant will come with a new heart rate sensor.

According to previous leaks, Realme 9 Pro+ will pack a 4,400mAh battery with 65W fast charging support, a 50MP triple rear camera module, a punch-hole display. On the other hand, the Pro model could be powered by Snapdragon 695 SoC coupled with up to 8GB of RAM and 128Gb of internal storage. For clicking photographs, the handset might get a 64MP main lens, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2MP macro shooter. Realme 9 Pro is expected to come with a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. Coming to the pricing, the Realme 9 Pro Series will be priced above Rs 15,000, as confirmed by CEO Madhav Sheth.
