Till now, Remco Cements had incurred a capital outlay of ₹ 2,500 crore out of ₹ 3,600 crore planned for FY21. The remaining amount will be spent in the next financial year. The capital expenditure for the Kurnool plant will be ₹ 300 crore and the work will be completed by FY22.
Regarding the WHRP, he stated that the project cost of all three phases. 220 crores. With the commissioning of Phase I and II, the company was able to reduce power consumption by about 15 MW, which was purchased from the thermal power plant.
