N. of Puducherry’s former Chief Minister and founder of AINRC. Rangasamy has an estimated assets of Rs 38.13 crore as per the affidavit submitted with the nomination filed on Monday to contest the assembly elections on 6 April. .
In 2016, he had movable assets of 14.30 lakh and immovable property with a market value of about Rs 29.3 crore.
Mr. Rangasamy, who is seeking election from Thachanchavadi and Yanam constituencies this time, has announced ₹ 66,000 cash which is less than ₹ 75,000 declared when filing nomination in the 2016 assembly election.
Their declared liabilities are now approx. 1.15 crore.
AINRC Supremo owns two cars and two motorbikes. These together with the wearing of individual gold are estimated at a total estimated value of ₹ 26 lakh.
