The city’s Astor Ramesh Hospital is collaborating with Stanford Health Care faculty to provide comprehensive vascular care in the region.
The initiative is recognized by Stanford Health Care credential faculty Mikinkeni Karthik as part of Stanford Global Surgery’s efforts to build knowledge disciplines and empower global communities to build inter-disciplinary and multi-sectoral teams. Is in form and addresses immediate vascular needs in the region.

As part of the collaboration, the hospital will now establish vascular and endovascular surgery (care) divisions in all four tertiary care centers of Astor Ramesh hospitals in Vijayawada, Guntur and Ongole.

Dr. Karthik is also the director of Vascular Surgery, AIG Hospitals in Gachibowli, Hyderabad.
He is a distinguished faculty of the renowned Standford University School of Medicine, Division of Vascular Surgery, where he specializes in aortic disease, including aortic and thoracic aneurysms, aortic disease with international recognition in the management of the vital organ ischemia-limb. Disposal, management of carotid disease, thoracic outlet syndrome and mesenteric ischemia.
