India’s Krishna Prasad Garga and Vishnu Vardhan Gaur Panjala went into the final of the Orleans Masters men’s doubles after losing 21–19, 14–21, 19–21 to England’s Ben Lane and Sean Wendy in a thrilling match on Sunday. The Indian pair started the game confidently and took an early lead, but the English pair made a deep comeback to reduce the deficit to make the game deeper. However, the Indian shuttlers captured the opening game 21–19.
With the title on the line, the English players turned the table in the second game to open a healthy lead and maintain it, eventually winning the game 21–14 with relative ease.
Unlike the first two matches, it was a neck-to-neck competition in the final game, in which both teams fought tooth and nail, not scoring easy points.

The match went down the right wire and the English pair emerged victorious, with the decider winning the men’s doubles title 21–19.
