Oppo Reno6 5G to be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 900 chipset - Times of India

NEW DELHI: Oppo is set to expand its mid-premium range in India with the launch of the new Reno 6 series. The company has already confirmed that it will launch the Oppo Reno 6 and Oppo Reno 6 Pro 5G smartphones in the country on July 14.
The company has now confirmed that Oppo Reno6 5G will be the first smartphone ever to be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 900 chipset. Oppo also added that the 6nm processor will enhance the performance of the smartphone and will also extend its battery life.
The 5G-enabled MediaTek processor supports WiFi 6 connectivity, FHD+ display with 120Hz refresh rate and a 108MP main camera.
Oppo has also revealed that the Oppo Reno6 Pro 5G will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1000 processor.
Apart from this, Oppo has also confirmed that it will also introduce a new colour variant of its true wireless earbuds — Oppo Enco X at the same event. The company revealed that it will launch a new blue colour variant of Oppo Enco X true wireless earbuds along with the Oppo Reno6 series smartphones.
The Oppo Enco X comes with coaxial dual unit design which consist of 6mm front superconducting magnetic plane diaphragm unit and 11mm three-layer composite moving coil unit for clear audio. The device also offers low latency as low as 47ms. Along with this, you also get advanced feed forward and feedback hybrid dual microphones and dual chip noise reduction. The earbuds also come with transparency mode which can be activated by long pressing on the earbud.
Oppo Reno6 series expected price
As per various online leaks and rumours it is expected that the company may price the Oppo Reno6 Pro at Rs 40,000, while the Oppo Reno6 is said to be priced at Rs 32,000.
