NEW DELHI: Oppo is set to expand its mid-premium range in India with the launch of the new Reno 6 series on July 14. The company is adding Oppo Reno 6 Pro and Oppo Reno 6 to its smartphone portfolio in India.
One of the key highlights of the Oppo Reno series has been its design. The company claims that the design has always been the guiding force behind its approach to the Reno series of smartphones, “combining innovative technology with trendy designs to refresh the experience for consumers with each generation.” Here the Reno Glow effect is claimed to be the central part to the overall design of the Reno series, and evolved through each iteration.
It will be no different for the upcoming Oppo 6 series, as per the company. For the first time, all colors in the series will give ‘sparkling Reno Glow’ effect, including Aurora and Stellar Black color finishes. The new Reno 6 Series is also likely to add a new color finish, Aurora, which the company claims is created using an upgraded version of its Diamond Spectrum process. This Diamond spectrum, according to the company, creates an ever-changing color effect when viewed at different angles and in different lights. It also claims to have used unique AG glass on Reno 6 Pro that provides 200% more hardness and durability.

Being part of the company’s mid-premium series, Oppo Reno 6 Pro and Oppo Reno 6 are likely to be priced between Rs 30,000-40,000.
