NEW DELHI: Oppo has expanded its smartphone lineup with the launch of a new A-series smartphone in Indonesia. Oppo has launched the Oppo A16 smartphone which succeeds the last year launched Oppo A15 smartphone.
Oppo A16 comes with an HD+ display and it runs Android 11 operating system. The smartphone sports a triple rear camera setup and is backed by a 5000mAh battery.
Oppo A16 comes with a price tag of IDR 1,999,000 (Rs 10,300) and it comes in Crystal Black, Pearl Blue and Space Silver colour options. The smartphone is already up for sale in Indonesia and the company has not yet revealed any details about its global launch.

Oppo A16 comes with a 6.52-inch HD+ display with 720×1600 pixel resolution and 60Hz refresh rate. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G35 processor coupled with 3GB of RAM.
The budget smartphone packs 32GB internal storage which can be expanded further by installing a microSD card. Oppo A16 sports a triple rear camera which comprises 13MP maon sensor with f/2.2 aperture, 2MP macro camera with f/2.4 aperture and 2MP mono sensor with f/2.4 aperture. The front is home to an 8MP selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture.
The handset comes equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and is backed by a 5000mAh battery.
Last week, Oppo launched the new Reno-series smartphones in India. The company launched the Oppo Reno 6 and Oppo Reno 6 Pro smartphones in the country. Both the smartphones are powered by MediaTek Dimensity processors. Both the smartphones are 5G-enabled and run Android 11 operating system.
