oneplus pad: OnePlus Pad gets listed on EUIPO website, may launch soon - Times of India

OnePlus is gearing up to enter a new product category soon. The company is expected to launch its tablet as the device has appeared on the official website of the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO).
OnePlus has already launched devices in the non-smartphone categories. These include smart TVs, smartwatches, smart bands and wireless earbuds. With the launch of its first tablet, the company seems to compete with the likes of Samsung, Lenovo and others in the tablet device category.
The trademark was filed on July 1, 2021. It does not reveal any spec/feature of the OnePlus Pad.
OnePlus’s sister companies Realme and Vivo are also working to launch their own tablets. Realme, earlier this year in June announced its plans to unveil a Realme Pad. The company also teased the upcoming device via a Twitter post. Similarly, the trademark for Vivo Pad has also been spotted on the EUIPO listing.
In a piece of related news, OnePlus is reportedly working on the ‘T’ version of the OnePlus 9. To be called OnePlus 9T, the smartphone is expected to be unveiled in the third quarter of 2021. The handset is tipped to offer a 108MP primary rear camera. Online reports suggest that the smartphone will come with Hasselblad camera branding.
OnePlus 9T is expected to run on ColorOS 11 and is said to feature a quad lens camera at the back.
