The update brings an updated Android security patch to the phone to June 2021. As per the changelog shared by OnePlus, the firmware brings extended battery life to OnePlus Nord. To download the software update, one must ensure that the battery level is above 30% and a minimum of 3GB of storage is available on the phone before flashing the build.
The update, as always, will have an incremental rollout. “The OTA will reach a small percentage of users today, and we’ll begin a broader rollout in a few days”, OnePlus said in the post.

OnePlus Nord is the company’s affordable mid-range smartphone that was launched in 2020. It comes powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G octa-core processor. The handset is equipped with a 6.44-inch Fluid AMOLED display with full-HD+ 1,080×2,400 pixels resolution. The phone’s display has a refresh rate of 90Hz and an aspect ratio of 20:9.
