Between winning a championship in the United States and lifting the Champions League with Lyon, Sweden national team captain Caroline Sager has played with some incredible players since the beginning of her career in 2004.
When she spoke Barometer A statement then added some weight about Hannah Bennison: “I have probably never seen such a great talent.”
Bennison has demonstrated that talent at the senior level, ever since she made her 15-year debut for Rosengard, becoming a regular in the midfield the following year as the club won the Damelswenskon title.
With amazing technique, physicality and an eye for goal, Bennison’s performance was rewarded with a senior swedecap against the world champions, the United States, in November 2019.
The milestones have only come for the 18-year-old, who scored his first Champions League goal in December, finishing strongly in the top corner against Lanchakhuti.
After a difficult year, the injury limited him to just five starts, a reminder of why Bennison deserves to be recognized as the best young talent in the world.
