Nokia: Nokia teases a new phone that won’t require a case - Eagles Vine
Nokia has teased a new smartphone which, as per the phone maker, won’t require a case. The smartphone is set to be unveiled on July 27. The company posted the teaser image on its website, with the back of the phone showing in the image. The teaser, displayed on the smartphone’s back, says: “With our newest Nokia phone you will never need a case again.” The teased image shows the rear camera setup at the centre of the back, inside a round bump. The date of the upcoming reveal has been mentioned near the bottom of the phone’s back which happens to be July 27, as mentioned before.
The company has not revealed any other specifications about the phone, though the leaks have already arrived. In a leaked image, shared by Slashdot, a Nokia smartphone’s back is covered with water drops, which is a clear indication at the water resistance that could be touted as one of the main attractions of the device.

There is a rear camera bump at the centre of the back of the device but it is squarish in shape, not round. There could be two camera sensors placed above two other sensors, one of which could be the LED flash. The build looks like the phone could handle a fall or two easily, teases water resistance and is meant for some rough usage, hence the rugged tag.
The phone is expected to come with a USB Type-C charging port and a headphone jack at the bottom edge of the phone. The Nokia phone could come powered with a Snapdragon 480 processor, 6GB RAM, 128GB of internal storage and LTE support. On July 27, we will get the word about the upcoming ‘rugged’ model.
