NEW DELHI: HMD Global, the company which holds the license to manufacture Nokia branded smartphones is all set to launch its first 5G smartphone.
HMD Global is all geared up to join the 5G race with the launch of the company’s first 5G smartphone. According to a report by ITHome, HMD Global is preparing for the launch of its 5G flagship smartphone.
The report adds that the company will launch the smartphone in China on November 11. The company has not yet shared the details about the upcoming flagship smartphone. However, it is expected that the company will name the smartphone as Nokia 9.3.
Meanwhile, HMD Global has launched its latest budget smartphone in India. The company has launched the Nokia G20 smartphone in the country.
Nokia G20 comes in a single storage option of 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. It is priced at Rs 12,999. The Nokia G20 can be purchased in two colour options — Night and Glacier and will become available for preorder starting July 7 on Nokia’s official website and Amazon India website. It will go on sale starting September 1.
Nokia G20 sports a 6.5-inch HD+ display with 1600x720p resolution. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek G35 processor paired with 4GB of RAM. The device packs 64GB internal storage which can be expanded further by installing a microSD card.
Backed by a 5050mAh battery, the Nokia G20 is said to deliver up to three days of battery life using AI-assisted battery features.
Measuring 164.9 x 76 x 9.2mm and weighing 197 grams, the smartphone offers a 3.5mm headphone jack, dual-SIM support and a USB Type-C port for charging.
