NMDC increases iron ore prices

NMDC Ltd. Has imposed a fine of 1, 1,100 per ton of lumps and ines 500 in iron ore prices. This is the second increase in the month by the country’s largest iron ore producer. After the latest change, effective April 14, the price of one ton of lump ore is 6,950, while a similar quantity of fines will sell for 0 5,060. On 3 April, NMDC raised the price to ore 500 and 250 250 per tonne, with lump-sum ore ines 5,850 and fines DC 4,560. It had opted to increase the same quantity with effect from 21 March, resulting in lump ore price f 5,350 and fine increased to 3 4,310.

However, for a good part of March, the company maintained the February price of ₹ 5,100 and ₹ 4,210 for the two varieties, respectively, amid concerns of high steel prices. The change of February 7 for fines which came into force from 6 January was less than the 5,700 compared to the 5,700 and the change was less than the 4,810.
