If you’re trying to watch Netflix tonight and binge on some boxsets then be warned. The streaming service is currently down and not working this evening with thousands reporting issues with the popular online platform.
The issues began at around 9pm with reports still flooding in. Independent website Down Detector has received thousands of complaints that Netflix is down. The outage tracker monitors social mentions around certain topics to detect when services go down across the world.
Fans have also taken to Twitter to complain about the problems with one user saying: “What’s up with @netflix, is your server down or something?”
Whilst another added: “Is Netflix down for other people too?”
Netflix has now confirmed its service is suffering from gremlins with a message posted on its service page that reads, “We are currently experiencing issues streaming on some devices. We are working to resolve the problem. We apologize for any inconvenience.”
There’s no word yet on when things will be fixed.
