Alabama running back Nazi Harris is widely expected to go into one of the top two rounds of the 2021 NFL Draft, though, according to some analysts, he is incomplete (as are all NFL draft prospects).
ESPN’s draft man Todd McShay feels that, among other things, Harris’ pass-catching ability has improved in 2020 and he lacks acceleration capability.
Speaking on “Adam Skecher Podcast” The ESPN NFL Insider later read Harris one of McShay’s mostly positive – but also slightly negative – scouting reports, with which Harris took issue.

“I think Todd McShay can kiss my ass,” Harris said. “How’s he gonna say ‘he showed better production?” I did not play my freshman or sophistication seasons, rarely. I didn’t have the opportunity to show that I could catch up.
“It’s not because I can’t do it, because I wasn’t in the game to show people I could catch it. So let’s just stop looking at the stat sheet and watch the game.”
Harris has a point. His seven receiving TDS as a running back in 2019 set him the record for the top in Crimson Tide history, noting another four touchdowns through the air in 2020.
Harris is considered the top running back prospect in the 2021 NFL Draft, ranked No. 1 or No. 2 next to Clemson’s Travis Itienne.
And, for what it’s worth, Harris can spend 600 pounds. So if McShay takes him up on the offer, he may have a lot of real estate to cover.
