Aartish Lopson may be a longtime rival, but he is still a “kid”, India’s professional boxing star Vijender Singh said on Monday, when he punches with his Russian rival in Panaji on Friday, for his unbeaten streak. The Olympic bronze medalist duo said, “My unbeaten streak will continue even after March 19 and I am sure everyone will witness an amazing day of boxing. The harder the opponent is, the more fun it will be to defeat.”

Vijender said that he will not work very hard in training. “I am excited and excited for this fight. I have started my training now. It mostly controls my weight. I will not be too hard in training,” he said.

On the other hand, Vijender is unbeaten in his professional boxing career with a record of 12–0, including eight knockouts.

He claimed his 12th successive victory in November 2019, defeating former Commonwealth champion Charles Adamu of Ghana.
