On the other hand, Mumbai and its neighbouring city Thane went into dark mode at around 5 pm after heavy rains, and dark clouds took citizens by surprise. Soon, #MumbaiRains started to trend on Twitter with netizens sharing their concerns and even questioning the weather department. One user said, “Suddenly 5 pm felt like 7.30 pm today,” while another user wrote, “Thundering is to the next level by God.” Some also shared funny memes as they enjoyed the change in weather.
