The NIA interrogated the Mumbai police officer for more than 12 hours.
A spokesperson said that the National Investigation Agency (NIA) investigated the recovery of an explosive-laden vehicle outside industrialist Mukesh Ambani’s South Mumbai home, interrogating Mumbai police officer Sachin Veg for more than 12 hours on March 13 Arrested after.

An NIA spokesperson said, “Sachin Vej was arrested in NIA Case RC / 1/2021 / NIA / MUM at 2350 hrs.”

Mr Vez is also facing heat in the case of the murder of Thane businessman Mansukh Hiran, who was in possession of the SUV. Deer was found dead on 5 March in a rivulet in Thane district.
The Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) is investigating the deer murder case. It lodged an FIR against unknown persons a few days after the deer was found dead.
On March 13, recording Mr. Waze’s statement, the NIA summoned Crime Branch ACP Nitin Alkanure and ATS ACP Shripad Kale to share information about the recovery of the SUV and the hitherto investigated cases of Hiran’s alleged murder.
Mr. Alkanure and Mr. Kale left the NIA office after four hours.
Mr Waze, accused of involvement in the suspicious death of her husband by Hiran’s wife, was kicked out of Mumbai’s crime branch earlier this week.
