More than 400 cases for the fourth consecutive day in Delhi

407 new COVID-19 cases were reported in Delhi on Sunday, crossing the 400 mark for the fourth consecutive day.

On Thursday, the city registered 409 cases, crossing the 400 mark and then 431 cases and 419 cases on Friday and Saturday respectively. The city was last reported on January 3 with over 400 cases, including 424 cases.

The decline in the number of cases in the city since the beginning of last week with Health Minister Satyendar Jain saw the capital reach the “endemic” phase and the “epidemic” phase as the positive situation came to an end. Submerged below 1%.

The health bulletin released by the government on Sunday stated that 68,223 tests were conducted in 24 hours, with a positivity of 0.60%. There were two deaths in the same period with a recovery of 350. There are currently 2,262 active cases. The total cases are at 6,43,696 with 10,941 deaths and 6,30,493 recoveries.
