Its dollar revenue has increased 5.2% QoQ `well positioned to give double-digit growth ‘
Mindtree, owned by Larsen & Toubro, reported a decline of 2.8% (qoq) and a 53.9% (yoy) increase in net profit to ₹ 317.3 crore for the quarter ended March.
The firm posted revenue of ₹ 2,109.3 crore – an increase of 4.2% and 2.9% respectively qoq and yoy.
In dollar terms, Q4 revenue grew 5.2% qoq to $ 288.2 million and 3.5% yoY. Although net profit indicated a decline of 1.9% QoQ at $ 43.3 million, it grew by 53.4%, the company said.
For the full fiscal, Mindtree posted revenue of ₹ 79,67.8 crore, an increase of 2.6% over the previous year, while net profit of ₹ 11,10.5 crore increased by 76.0%. In dollar terms, revenue of $ 1,076.5 million saw a 1.1% decline, but net profit jumped 69.6% to $ 150.0 million.
“For the year, we delivered revenue of $ 1,076.5 million and margin expansion of 680bps, increasing our order book by 12.3%. Mindtree reported a lower 12.1% and a higher employee utilization rate in Q4.
The company said that it would rent out its fresher / campus in FY2222. As of 31 March, it has 23,814 employees.
Mindtree’s board recommended a final dividend of ₹ 17.5 per share.
