Men’s college hockey has reached its final four teams.
Four teams will take on Pennsylvania with a chance at the Ultimate Men’s College Hockey Awards. One school – Minnesota Duluth – will seek its third straight championship, while the other three titles are aiming for No. 1.
Minnesota’s last two championships in Duluth came in 2018 and 2019; There was no shampoo in 2020 due to COVID-19. If it wins, it will be only the second team to do so and the first team after Michigan (1951-53).

2021 Where are the men’s frozen fours happening?
This year’s Men’s National Ice Hockey Championship will be held at Pittsburgh’s PPG Paints Arena. It was the first time since 2013 that Yale won.
Will there be fans in attendance?
The PPG Paints Arena will not be filled with crazy hockey fans. Instead, approximately 4,500 fans will be in attendance. Fans should follow social guidelines. Each school was allocated 300 tickets.
How has COVID-19 affected the 2021 men’s Frozen Four?
UMass would be without four players due to the COVID protocol: goalkeepers Henry Graham and Phillip Lindberg, and forwards Jerry Harding and Carson Gisevic. Lindberg is the team’s top goalkeeper and Gisevic is the team’s leading goal scorer.
The team’s student equipment manager Zac Steigmeyer will serve as Matt Murray’s backup.
