Cricket Australia confirmed on Tuesday that Victoria player Marcus Harris has been suspended for a match. Harris made the suspension after admitting a charge for misuse of equipment during a Marsh Sheffield Shield match against Tasmania on 5 March. Harris was convicted of a level offense under the Cricket Australia Code of Conduct and accepted a suspension point penalty and 50 per cent of his match fees. The offense was Harris’s second in an 18-month period. As a result of this approval, Harris will miss Victoria’s Marsh One-Day Cup match against Tasmania on 10 March due to suspension.
Victoria currently sit fourth in the Sheffield Shield standings with 17 points from five matches.

The side has won only the match won while the other four have ended in a draw.
Victoria will next take on Queensland on March 15 at the Sheffield Shield in Brisbane.
