Due to the epidemic that destroyed its predecessor, the 2021 NCAA tournament will be played almost entirely within the Indianapolis city limits. March madness bracket predictions
Western region
Gonzaga. The Zags are the best team in the country since the season began. East Zone
Alabama. The strange thing about the Crimson Tide is not only that they are good at basketball, it is also that they are known for their 3-point shooting when their best quality is how they defend. Alabama has the second best D in the country. The tide will take the ball away from you. If you keep it, they will stop your shots. They will prevent you from achieving the efforts you want and from doing what you take. And if they throw bombs at 20 or so, it is impossible to beat them.
Midwest region
Illinois Coach Brad Underwood, who worked at Oklahoma State before taking the Illinois job, couldn’t be happier with the prospect of seeing the Cowboys in the Sweet 16. OK State coach Mike Boynton. While Underwood has to deal with a dangerous team to reach the Elite Eight, Boynton has to deal with one of the three best teams in the country. His cowboys deserved better treatment. The Illini will not have an easy time, but they will send to the OK State home at least one round earlier than necessary.
South Zone
Purpose. The last time we had a tournament, the Boilermakers were a solo-produced free throw from their first Final Four appearance since 1980. This free throw was not made, and they are still waiting. They cannot last much longer. It is a young, developing team, but seems to have landed in a bracket that can be conquered. The key will be whether young Jaden Ivy can continue her recent ascent towards stardom.
