If the NCAA tournament is the main course for college basketball fans, then First Four is the appetizer.
Nevertheless, a selection of some appetizers as the 2021 First Four is considerable. It takes place entirely on Thursday and culminates with a blue blood fight at Michigan State vs. UCLA, which will fight for the 11th seed in the Eastern Region. Spartans fans are undoubtedly angry about their place in the tournament, but you cannot deny that this will be a great finish to the First Slate.
The remaining games – Mount St. Mary’s vs. Texas Southern, Wichita State vs. Drake and Norfolk State vs. Appalachian State – don’t seem nearly as interesting to basketball fans … but are you really going to pass your first NCAAs in the first two years. For tournament action?
