Police said on Thursday that a 30-year-old man was arrested in Delhi-NCR on charges of supplying arms and ammunition.
He said that the accused has been identified as Sanjay Kumar, a resident of Aligarh district of Uttar Pradesh.
According to the police, Kumar used to get arms and ammunition from Madhya Pradesh for supply in Delhi-NCR and UP.
DCP (Special Cell) Pramod Singh Kushwaha said, “On Tuesday, police received information that Kumar would come near Indraprastha Park Gate No. 2 on Outer Ring Road, after which a trap was laid and the accused was apprehended.” said.
