If Henry is elected an athlete, he would be a logical choice. I explained why in my prediction for the next athlete. Henry was my number 2 candidate behind MVP winner Aaron Rodgers. But “Madden” has already gone with the quarterback in three of the last four years, so moving from that position makes total sense.

Henry is the best candidate in his position, noting that he is coming off a 2,000-yard season, and an offensive player of the year award. “Madden 12.” Will be the first active running back on cover since Pieten Hillis.

(EA Sports)

While it may seem too early to know an already covered athlete, think of last year when Lamar Jackson leaked that he would be on the cover. He Did it on 21 April Last year, it would not be out of the question for EA Sports to have its man already.

Of course, a full announcement will not come until later. Last year’s cover was not announced until mid-June.

But if Henry is the cover athlete, it will be interesting to see if this leads to new game mechanics. In this year’s “Madden”, online users pass almost every play. It is possible that EA Sports introduces some new running back features to help encourage people to run the ball a little more. “Madden” has done so in the past, especially with the introduction of the hit stick when Ray Lewis became the first defensive player on the cover.
