In another twist to the saga of former Mumbai Police Commissioner Param Bir Singh,
The office of the Chief Minister of Maharashtra (CMO) said late on Saturday that the letter was received on an alleged e-mail from former Mumbai Police Commissioner Param Bir Singh, which has allegations against Home Minister Anil Deshmukh, under the signature of someone Without and was sent from an e. -Mail ID is different which is registered by Mr. Singh.
“The Chief Minister’s Secretariat received the letter at his official e-mail address at 4.37 pm on Saturday, without the signature of [email protected] with only the name of Param Bir Singh. The department is in the process of checking its authenticity, ”a CMO statement said.
It added that according to the record, Mr. Singh’s personal e-mail ID was registered in government documents as [email protected] and was not sent from that mail.
“It is important to authenticate the e-mail address from where the mail was sent,” the statement said.
