Domestic smartphone brand Lava has expanded its smartphone line-up in India with the launch of Lava Z2s smartphone. The handset is a budget smartphone offering from the brand.
Lava Z2s smartphone price and availability
The smartphone has been launched in a single storage variant that has 2GB RAM and 32GB internal storage and costs Rs 7,099.
At this price, the Lava Z2s smartphone faces competition from handsets from popular brands including Xiaomi, Realme and Samsung. Xiaomi’s Redmi 9A is available at a starting price of Rs 6,999 in India, Realme offers C11 2021 at Rs 6,999 onwards and Samsung has Galaxy M02s at Rs 9,499 onwards.
The handset will be available for purchase from e-commerce platforms like Flipkart and Amazon, Lava e-store, and across offline stores.
Lava Z2s smartphone specs
Running on Android 11 Go operating system out of the box, the Lava Z2s smartphone offers a 2.5D curved screen display of 6.5-inch HD+ IPS display with a 20:9 aspect ratio.
The Lava Z2s smartphone comes powered by octa-core MediaTek Helio processor (unspecified). On the storage front, the device offers 2GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. For those who want more, they can install a microSD card of up to 512GB.
For imaging duties, the Lava Z2s smartphone has an 8MP AF sensor (f/2.0 aperture) on the back. On the front, users get a 5MP sensor (f/2.2 aperture). It offers support for recording 1080p video and modes such as Beauty Mode, HDR Mode, Night Mode, Portrait Mode.
Backed by a 5000mAh battery, the Lava Z2s smartphone offers dual G SIM support.
Measuring 164.5×75.8×9.0mm and weighing 190 grams, the smartphone offers Accelerometer, Proximity sensors. It comes with support for facial unlock as well.
