NDA’s ruling aide HAM (S) and VIP protest list not being consulted
Upendra Kushwaha, who joined the JD (U) on March 14, was nominated by the Governor Fagua Chauhan on Wednesday from the BJP and one of the six JD (U) MLAs. Hindustani Awam Morcha (Secular), a partner in the ruling coalition of the NDA and the developing Insan Party, opposed not being consulted for the list of nominated MLCs.
There is a discussion in the political circles that Mr. Kushwaha, who was earlier made the head of the JD (U) parliamentary board, may also be included in the Nitish Kumar cabinet.
Ten seats were vacant since June 2020, while two seats were already vacant due to being elected to the Lok Sabha in 2019.
Apart from Mr. Kushwaha, five other JD (U) leaders nominated as MLCs are Ashok Chaudhary, Sanjay Singh, Sanjay Gandhi, Lalan Saraf and Ram Bachchan Rai. From the BJP quota, the six leaders are former Gopalganj MP Janak Ram, Devesh Kumar, Pramod Kumar Chandravanshi, Ghanshyam Thakur, Rajendra Gupta and Nivedita Singh.
“MLC was nominated without our consultation. This alliance is against the spirit of religion, “Ham (S) spokesman Danish Rizwan said,” The move has brought the party to the point where it would fall short of taking a major decision. “Similarly, VIP spokesperson Rajiv Mishra said,” We were not consulted on this. ”
