Jose Butler would love to see this Australian star in Colors, England

During the Q&A season, Rajasthan Royals (RR) star Jose Butler praised Pat Cummins and said that the Australian pacer would fit perfectly into the England cricket team. Butler is currently preparing for IPL 2021, and will represent Rajasthan. In a video posted on Rajasthan’s official Twitter handle, the English wicketkeeper-batsman answered fans’ questions. One fan asked the 30-year-old cricketer to “name a player from outside England who would fit perfectly into your national team?”

Responding to the question, Butler said he would love to see Cummins representing England.

“I think I’ll go for Pat Cummins. I think Pat Cummins is one of the leading fast bowlers in the world right now, in all formats of the game.”

He said, “I would love to see him working with England’s Joffra Archer. It will be a very intimidating bowling line-up. So, I’m calling Pat Cummins for that one”, he added.

The Australian fast bowler will play for Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in IPL 2021.

The IPL 2021 is scheduled to begin on 9 April, with Mumbai Indians (MI) facing the opener Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the season.

KKR will face Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in their first match of the season on 11 April, while Butler and RR will take on Punjab Kings in their first match on 12 April.

Butler was also asked about his current favorite cricketer, to which he replied, “My current favorite players, I would probably say are Quinton de Cock.”

He said, “He is a South African wicket-keeping batsman. Obviously the way I play for myself, I play with him. I think the spirit he plays with, I think the left Hand bats always look better than right handers. Englishmen.
