Rouhani criticized European signatories of the historic nuclear deal for their inaction on their commitments to the agreement
Iran’s President Hassan Rouhani said the United States prepared its country on Sunday to take steps to step into the 2015 nuclear deal with world powers as soon as Iran imposed economic sanctions on Iran.
In a meeting with Irish Foreign Minister Simon Coveney, Mr Rouhani said: “Iran is ready to take immediate compensatory measures based on the nuclear deal and will fulfill its commitments right after the US sanctions are lifted and it will endanger its own Eliminates policy and pressure. ”
Mr. Rouhani criticized European signatories of the historic nuclear deal for their inaction on their commitments to the agreement. He said that Iran was the only country to put its side of the bargain.
Donald Trump unilaterally lifted the US from the Iranian nuclear deal in 2018, with Tehran agreeing to limit its uranium enrichment in exchange for lifting economic sanctions. When the US re-enforced some sanctions and added others, Iran slowly and publicly relinquished the boundaries of the agreement on its nuclear development.
The facilitator of the Republic of Ireland has a role in the implementation of the nuclear deal.
Simon Coveney said former President Donald Trump’s withdrawal was a mistake and noted that the new US administration is determined to return to the deal.
In December, Iran’s parliament approved a bill that calls for the United Nations to suspend inspections of its nuclear facilities if the European signatories to the 2015 nuclear deal do not relieve oil and banking restrictions.
