Chinese smartphone brand iQoo has launched its iQoo 8 and iQoo 8 Pro smartphones in its home country. The new phones come with flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset, triple cameras and there’s a ‘Legendary Edition’ of both the phones that offer BMW M Motorsport design. Here are the details of the new iQoo 8 and iQoo 8 Pro smartphones.
iQoo 8 and iQoo 8 Pro specs
The iQoo 8 comes with a 6.56-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate. The display has a selfie camera at the centre. The device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset with 8GB RAM/128GB memory and 12GB/256GB storage. The device comes with a triple camera setup with 48MP Sony IMX598 primary sensor with F1.79 aperture along with 13MP ultra-wide and 13MP depth sensors. For selfies, there’s a 16MP camera on the front.
The device is backed by a 4,350mAh battery with 120W fast charging and there’s an in-display fingerprint scanner along with face unlock for security.
On the other hand, the iQoo 8 Pro variant has a 6.78-inch AMOLED 2K display with 120Hz refresh rate. There’s a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 Plus chip and comes in three variants– 8GB/256GB, 12GB/256GB and 12GB/512GB storage.
As far as camera is concerned, there’s a triple camera setup at the back with a 50MP IMX766V sensor with an F1.75 aperture along with a 48MP ultra-wide sensor and 16MP depth sensor. There’s a 16MP selfie camera in the front. It is backed by a 4,500mAh battery with 120W fast charging and 50W fast wireless charging.
iQoo 8 and iQoo 8 Pro pricing in China
The iQoo 8 costs 3,799 Yuan (around Rs 43,600) for the base variant with 8GB/128GB storage while the 12GB/256GB version is priced at 4,199 Yuan (around Rs 48,200). The iQoo 8 Pro with 8GB/256GB storage costs 4,999 yuan (converts to Rs 57,300) while the 12GB/256GB and 12GB/512GB variants cost 5,499 yuan and 5,999 yuan respectively.
