Deepak Chahar got his first glimpse of Cheteshwar Pujara’s “strong” defense as he took his fellow Chennai Super Kings teammates for a table tennis match, but with a twist. While Pujara played with a table tennis racket, Chahar used a cricket bat to face his CSK teammates. “Brother Yeha Raksha Kuch, he is very strong. (Brother, you are very strong even in defense), “He has written in the face for a video posted on social media where he is seen playing a game of table tennis with Pujara.” Bat too, ”added Chahar.

Chahar, who has been a part of CSK since 2018, is likely to be one of their leading fast bowlers this season and Pujara, who was selected at auction in February this year, will have his first term in the team.

Chahar, a right-arm pacer, has 45 wickets in 48 IPL matches since his 2016 debut in the tournament.

On the other hand, Pujara is playing his first IPL since 2014. He scored 390 runs in 30 matches with a half-century in the tournament.

The IPL will begin with Royal Challengers Bangalore in Chennai along with defending champions Mumbai Indians on 9 April.

Promoted

CSK began their campaign in Mumbai on 10 April against the runners-up from Delhi Capital last season.

CSK did not have the best season in 2020, when the league was played in the UAE due to a coronavirus epidemic, as they finished sixth and failed to make the playoffs for the first time in their history.
CSK is a three-time IPL champion. He won the titles in 2010, 2011 and 2018.
