EE has long offered six months of free access to Apple Music and Apple News+ to new and existing pay monthly customers. But starting now, EE has extended this promotion to also include half a year’s worth of Apple TV+ and Apple Arcade too. This is the first time EE has bundled together these four Apple services as a free bonus for customers, and in total will save £175 on subscription fees. Woah.
To redeem the free six months memberships, EE customers simply need to login to the myEE app and choose which Apple service they would like access to.
This mega freebie bundles in a whole host of Apple content that EE customers will be able to enjoy without spending a single extra penny.
Apple Music – the iPhone and iPad makers’ big Spotify rival – boasts a library of over 90million songs and 30,000 playlists that can be listened to online or offline ad-free, plus exclusive radio stations and the ability to listen with lossless (CD quality audio), something that Spotify currently doesn’t support. If you’re already an existing Apple Music subscriber – and that wouldn’t be a surprise given the service has a over 78million subscribers – then you can just cancel your subscription and start an EE trial.
Membership for Apple TV+ meanwhile will let you binge and catch up on brilliant Apple Originals that are exclusive to the service, such as the award-winning Ted Lasso, the star-studded The Morning Show and The Tragedy of Macbeth – the new film from Fargo and No Country For Old Men director Joel Coen.
Access to Apple Arcade will also offer you the ability to play over 200 games with no ads and no in-app purchases. Unmissable games available with Apple Arcade include Sonic Racing, Sayonara Wild Hearts, Exit The Gungeon, and more.
And finally, if you’re looking for something to read while lazing around on the sofa Apple News+ will be ideal for you. This service has hundreds of leading magazines and newspapers all in one app. You’ll be able to read iconic newsagent magazines such as Grazia, Empire and National Geographic cover to cover, or stay up to date with the latest news and analysis from titles such as The Sunday Times and Wall Street Journal.
Speaking about this new EE offer, Alistair Wilson, the director of devices and partnerships at the mobile provider, said: “We continue to look for ways to provide customers with unique access to great content and services, so the addition of Apple TV+ and Apple Arcade to our exclusive Apple entertainment offer means they can now watch great shows such as Ted Lasso and Central Park and play games such as Skate City and Sonic Racing on us – for free. When combined with the power of the EE award-winning 4G and 5G network – iPhone customers really can make the most from what their device has to offer in more places than any other.”
If you find that you can’t get enough of these four services and don’t want to lose access to it then, you’ll be able to upgrade to the EE Full Works for iPhone package to continue using these Apple apps.
