Injustice with backward classes in Telugu states, BJP says

K. Laxman said that 26 castes of northern coastal Andhra were denied BC reservation soon after the bifurcation of United States Andhra Pradesh.

National President of OBC Front of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Laxman has asserted that the governments of the two Telugu speaking states are doing gross injustice to the Backward Classes (BC).

The Andhra Pradesh and Telangana governments were going against the interests of the BC in their own ways. He said that neither opposition parties were rallying behind B.C., but that injustice was being done to them in all areas.

Dr. Laxman held a meeting with leaders of the BJP OBC Morcha here on Tuesday.

Addressing a press conference, he said that it was only the BJP that could ensure social justice to all BCs, as the NDA-led Modi government at the Center was working for the development of BCs. The Center was given constitutional status to the BC Commission with a commitment to the B.C. Now, BC was being classified. There were many castes that did not even make 1% of the reservation. He said that efforts are being made to do justice to all of them.

Referring to the BCs of Uttarakhand, Shri Laxman said that as soon as the bifurcation of the united Andhra Pradesh, 26 castes from North Coastal Andhra were denied BC reservation. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy who is his Telangana counterpart. Chandrasekhar had a hobby with Rao, silent for the suffering of B.C. He said that Mr. Jagan was requested to work fast at least now.
